MotivationAbstract
The objective of this study was to identify the consequences of the lack of innovative pedagogical strategies and their impact on student motivation. This research adopted a quantitative, descriptive approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 196 students. Data collection was carried out by means of a survey with the purpose of investigating the lack of innovative pedagogical strategies, as well as the lack of dynamism and limited active participation of students. The results indicate that the absence of innovative educational approaches is directly related to a decrease in student motivation, which affects both their academic performance and their interest in learning. By way of conclusions, the adoption of creative and flexible pedagogical methods that favor participation is suggested, in addition to promoting the continuous training of teachers in current pedagogical techniques.
