Abstract

The present research work aims to analyze the level of educational satisfaction of the students of Bachillerato General Unificado, considering that the use of traditional methodologies has repercussions on learning, resulting in a lack of motivation to learn the contents. A quantitative approach was used with a non-experimental-transversal design, being of descriptive type, the study population was 500 students of General Unified High School of 3 educational units (Tomas Rivadeneira, Federico González Suárez and 30 de Julio). The sample consisted of 150 students of the Unified General High School (Bachillerato General Unificado): first A, first B, second A, second B and third A. For data collection, a satisfaction survey was used through a Google questionnaire that was shared with the students. The result was that a large percentage of students consider that they do receive teaching and learning processes based on active methodologies (42.7) and a minimum percentage of 8% consider that they do not receive an education that responds to the advances of the XXI century. Therefore, the study showed that the students' perception of the educational units investigated is good, given that in most of the dimensions addressed in the satisfaction survey it could be seen that more than 50% of the sample studied perceive good educational practices.
